Just a quick note to let y'all out in cyberspace know I'm still kicking around. My original plan was a post on how well my swimsuits performed on vacation, but then my kid knocked a glass of iced tea on my laptop. Since the display still comes on and only the keyboard appears to be fuxxored, I'm holding on to some slim hope it's fixable. My buddy the professional geek will tell me for sure this weekend.
While trying not to freak the fuck out over the possible loss of my laptop, I think I'm going to head to the local sewing place and pick up some good scissors and finally get around to poking at the sewing machine my mom gave me. I've got scrap material, pillow forms and batting I scored months ago on freecycle, a pattern, and a project from Craft in mind.
